Changing Lives Through Inspiring

Mike's story is one of immense resilience and strength in face of unimaginable adversity. Mike grew up in poverty, with virtually nothing to his name. He experienced homelessness, living in a cardboard box without regular access to food. It's difficult to imagine the challenges he faced as he wandered the streets of New York, uncertain about his future. Mike's primary focus was simply to survive, hoping for a leftover meal.  He missed out on schooling and tragically abandoned by his single-parent mother at the age of 13 in a New York City train station. Weeks after the added weight of witnessing the tragic events of 9/11 in the backdrop of his struggles further deepens the challenges he endured.  Eventually after wandering the streets with a survival mode, Mike somehow ends up with an African American family. How was his experience? Was this a game changer in life? What Impact and value did he receive? Were they a hero in Mike's eyes?  

Through the combination of his willpower and the grace of God, he managed to find a path to success and become a beacon of hope for others. Was it luck or mere happenstance? Mike consistently emphasizes the importance of being "relentless" and firmly believes that no one should allow others to steal their dreams. He advocates for having the determination and resilience to persevere, even when life becomes immensely difficult, because it is said that God assigns the toughest battles to His strongest soldiers.

Mike's journey in the United States Navy began with incredible determination and resilience. As a 17-year-old E-1 recruit, he had no material possessions or prior experience, but he possessed a strong will to survive and succeed. The Navy recognized Mike's potential and accepted him based on his character and willingness to serve. Mike quickly promoted to a Bootcamp Drill Instructor just at the age of 22 as the youngest ever. During his career he advanced to the rank of Chief and currently serving as a Naval Officer.  Mike was appointed to lead 255 personnel at the age of 26 becoming the most junior leader to spearhead the largest organization in the history of Naval Aviation Enterprise.

 At the age of 26, Mike embarked on his first professional speaking journey at a leadership conference where he presented as part of a 5-speaker lineup that included 4 CEOs.  This early start in his speaking career shows his commitment to sharing his story and wisdom with others. It demonstrates his dedication to helping individuals and organizations develop their leadership skills and reach their full potential. Mike's authenticity is evident in his passion as an orator. His experiences and coaching are not just theoretical concepts but are rooted in real-life situations. 

 This authenticity shines through and resonates with his audience, making his talks impactful and memorable. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious, creating an atmosphere that motivates and inspires everyone in the crowd.   

Mike received his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master’s in Business Leadership. Additionally, he received the prestigious Navy-wide Leadership Award, triumphing over 20,000 candidates.
